How to Vote

Ok, you’re fully prepped and ready to go. Now it’s voting time.

Here’s a checklist of everything you need to know to make it happen.

✅ If you’re a Canadian citizen, you have the right to vote. You don’t even have to be in Canada on Election Day. Visit Elections.ca for more options.

✅ Can’t make it on October 21st? Don’t sweat it. Your vote still counts. Consider visiting an advance polling station between October 11th to October 14th between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

✅ Or you can vote any day at any Elections Canada office (there’s one in every riding).

✅ Need help finding an Elections Canada office? You can start here.

✅ You can also vote by mail using a special ballot. You can apply to get a voting kit at Elections.ca or by calling Elections Canada at 1-800-463-6868.
